Are pages simply scanned in to create ActivDirectory pages?
No. Publisher's pagination files are digitally transcribed and all of the information is parsed to create crystal clear images that are fully searchable.
Is any other information needed from the publisher's pagination system to produce ActivDirectory?
No. Recognizing the difficulties publishers have with extracting detailed data elements from pagination systems, Innovectra created very complex software to extract all indexing data from standard printer pagination files.
Does ActivDirectory Onsite (CD ROM) require special software (plug ins) to operate?
No. ActivDirectory runs on any standard Internet web browsers that are found on a user's workstation.
